Our Objective is to “Educate the Poor - Provide for Health & Wellness for the Needy - Ensuring Better Life for All”

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR) has a population  2 crores and is home to the privileged and some not so privileged which includes large pockets of slums. The city remains stretched on local infrastructure linked to education and healthcare. Take for example the rising school fees year after year have led to steep dropouts at the schools. Additionally, the support is also needed by BMC run schools that require financial support for needy students, infrastructure, and teaching support. Similarly, a buzzing metropolis requires assistance for primary healthcare, vaccines, keep the blood banks full and palliative care which remains a huge gap in the city. MMHS foundation through its donor and volunteer community is looking to bridge this gap with its modest efforts.
Support poor children with school fees or allowances

Education

Our trust aspires to address the academic needs of the under-privileged. Some of the activities we undertake is to support the underprivileged by paying tuition fees, providing school supplies – textbooks, stationery, instituting scholarships for the needy. Through our volunteering programs we also identify institutions that require after-school and in-school coaching and mentoring programs.

Health& Wellness

The trust plans to run Routine health camps – Wellness and Blood & Plasma donation drives, vaccination drives for Polio, Typhoid, MMR, Hepatitis B, etc. Through the Healthcare professionals connected with the trust we aim to run consultation camps in residential complexes in the MMRDA region creating awareness about lifestyle ailments (diabetes, hypertension) and how to prevent / manage. The trust supports preventive healthcare, palliative care and has a vision to reach as many people as possible.
